Applied in enucleation of prostate

Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP): a high perfusion flow is usually required to maintain a good view and irrigation. The perfusion flow rate is generally about 80-100 ml/min.

Laser prostatectomy: Perfusion flow can be slightly lower, generally about 150-250 ml/min.

The suction flow rate needs to be matched to the perfusion flow rate to ensure that the surgical area does not become distended or have other complications due to excess perfusion. Usually, the suction flow rate is slightly higher than the perfusion flow rate to ensure the timely drainage of perfusate and blood.Generally, the suction flow rate is about 250-350 ml/min.

The use of a perfusion system is critical in prostate enucleation procedures such as transurethral prostatectomy, TURP, or laser prostatectomy.

The role of the perfusion system

Maintain the surgical field of vision: The perfusion fluid enters the bladder and urethra through the perfusion tube, cleans the surgical area, flushes out blood and tissue debris, and maintains a clear surgical field of vision.

Control of bleeding: The pressure of the perfused fluid helps to control bleeding during the procedure, making the procedure more precise and safe.

Inflating the tissue: In some cases, perfusion of fluid can help inflate the tissue, providing better room to operate.

The role of the attraction system

Drainage of perfusion fluid: The suction system drains the perfusion fluid from the surgical area in a timely manner to prevent excessive effusion and keep the surgical area clean and visible.

Removal of blood and tissue debris: The suction system also sucks out blood and removed prostate tissue debris during surgery, keeping the surgical area clean.

Monitor the flow and pressure: The surgical team needs to monitor the flow and pressure of the perfusion fluid in real time, and adjust the parameters of perfusion and suction according to the progress of the operation to ensure the safety and effect of the operation.
